So if he gives his fees to charity why does he need fees? And if he gives to charity why doesn't he do it privately? I suppose you could pay him $14.00 and ask him.

How much does David Fitzgerald charge for his book? And the subscription to New Scientist? I am surprised they can't give it away free given the money they must be making advertising gadgets, jobs, market research services, fine wines and airlines.

Ever wondered how academics get their positions? Just sayin'.

I know there are cognitive processes which replace God with a big number. But what if you take the big number out? And whether that big number is in or out, how do you end up at a year of a cow? What number is Cow?

Oh it is an era. Looks like the Japanese era names started in 140 BCE (Julian Calendar) during the reign of Emperor Wu of Han. So this year is the year of the Vaccine. Cause the word vaccine comes from the word 'cow'. La vache.

The use of era names was originally derived from Chinese imperial practice. And although the Japanese use era names they use the Gregorian calendar.

So - so far we have Gregorian Calendar which by its very nature recognises Jesus Christ and the Jewish calendar which by its very nature recognises the creation of Adam. Then there's Iran. Anyone really want to go there?

In your opinion but the letters after the year are AD. So whatever you view it does not make you right.

Besides Epoch time which is probably on your computer is counted as the year turns from Dec to Jan. It counts in seconds from midnight 1/1/1970 - and that's the Gregorian Calendar.

Why is it 5782 in in Israel? It is telling you how long ago they think it is since Adam was created. Also, they are on the lunar calendar, which is why the Gregorian date of the Passover changes every year. Gregorian is a solar calendar, but Nisan 14 when Jesus died is a month and day from the Jewish lunar calendar.

I would ask him why he is charging $14.00.

Ask him if he will give you $14.00 for asking a question on the basis of:

(Luke 6:38) . . .Practice giving, and people will give to you. They will pour into your laps a fine measure, pressed down, shaken together and overflowing. For with the measure that you are measuring out, they will measure out to you in return.. . .

If he gives you $14.00 you could give it back to him.

Is the jab required to attend meetings ?

So they get a pat on the back? Healthcare - it wasn't even their field of expertise - although maybe some of them could have had a go a diagnosing leprosy. Leviticus 13:1-17

I never heard anyone try though.

BTW I think there's some kind of registration system for attending meetings. Wonder if they'll be encouraging publishers to give them access to their medical records, in time. Would you trust them? Would you ever think of what happened in Jonestown where a significant number were "injected against their will".

Hi DNCall - what I'm trying to say is that sexual abuse is something we understand. But when it comes to law (ie Man's laws (whatsoever they may be) as opposed to God's Way (ie Jesus Christ), what is right and wrong can change.

The laws of men do not exist to administer justice but to maintain the status quo.

What I am suggesting is that if a criminal (by the definition in some law today) knows that the law will change in his/her favor, all that person has to do is kick the can down the road to avoid fines/prison until such time as the law is change so that he/she is no longer defined as a criminal.

Thereafter, that person can use the law against those that accused and found him/her guilty in first place and maybe claim damages. Ie entirely reverse the situation.

Haven't followed all that is going on with the child abuse but has anyone given consideration to this:

Could there be people in the Organisation who are confident (rightly or wrongly) that at some point the age of consent will be lowered? Further, that the very concept of consent and the idea of a parent having care/rights over their children will be done away with?

If so whatever legal victories have been won by victims could be turned around to make out the victims were 'old fashioned'. Or not in harmony with natural law or some other.

(2 Timothy 3:1-5) . . .But know this, that in the last days critical times hard to deal with will be here. 2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, self-assuming, haughty, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, disloyal, 3 having no natural affection, not open to any agreement, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, without love of goodness, 4 betrayers, headstrong, puffed up [with pride], lovers of pleasures rather than lovers of God, 5 having a form of godly devotion but proving false to its power;. . .

Yes Jan - part of the cunning plan. Not only of WT but anyone wanting to make you think are too thick to understand something, when really they are making a fog of confusion out of something in order to to make you imagine they know better than you.

Think of the magician with the three cups and the little ball hidden beneath. He moves the cups so fast it is difficult to follow which cup the ball is under. Also he has likely hidden the ball up his sleeve. So you never stood a chance of getting the answer right based on the information he presented you with. But if you knew his trick and saw through what he was doing, he would make sure the rest of his audience never got to learn what it was you knew. Because if they all knew he would have no hold on their minds.
